Why yes, they do roll the carpet out into the street to measure and cut it.
We just have to watch for cars. Because they absolutely will run over the carpet. I've seen them do it.
See? Here's the carpet guy. Measuring and cutting. But not watching for cars.
Here's the master bedroom. The carpet is in, but not stretched and tacked down.
This is the front bedroom.
Meanwhile, over on the stairs, the carpet padding is in.
And here comes the carpet.
Hey, carpet guy: hands off the walls. Are you the one who's going to clean the hand prints off of that wall?
I didn't think so.
Carpet.
Then, starting at the bottom of the stairs, the carpet guy attaches the carpet.
And works his way up the stairs, tucking the carpet in as he goes.
So here it is, halfway up. The carpet guy has gone outside to cut another piece of carpet to finish the stairs.
I hope he's watching for cars.
